The Supersoul is like the sun. “Ordinary” souls are like the sunbeams. Each cannot exist without the other. Each sunbeam is individual yet it originates from the sun. The sun does not exist without the sunbeams. They are all part of one infinite wholeness.
It glorious to contemplate how the Supersoul, which is eternal, has so many individual expressions yet all are united because they come from one original source. Some call this The Source Energy of the Universe. Others call it God. But whatever the name, it has always existed and is apart from human concepts of time and space.
Souls exists simultaneously with the Supersoul. Our clever human minds find many ways to see how we are all different. We hate each other, judge each other, and condemn ourselves to lives of inner and outer turmoil. All the while we are not recognizing our common source. When we finally do, we will live much freer lives of love and joy and inner peace.
