Time is a construct of the human mind. It is a way we measure and structure our experience and allows us to communicate with each other about when we are going to meet. Animals don’t have the concept of time. When we sleep, the thing we call “time” keeps going on but it is really change, constant and never-ending change. It doesn’t go anywhere because it is an endless cycle.
How do we feel our souls when we weep?
Though it may feel that our soul is weeping, it is really our minds that are feeling sad. Our soul do not feel any form of sadness and are apart from the thinking-emotional cycle. It is a human thing. First we have a thought. That thought triggers an emotion. But in the realm of the soul, thinking and human emotions such as sadness, do not exist.
If we care so much if the Sun shines, what do we see when we lose our minds?
Losing our minds is not a bad idea at all. The sun will shine anyway, whether we want it to or not. And it will shine on its own terms, not ours. We cannot influence it in any way. Therefore it is best to let go of our controlling minds and just let it be. Lose the controlling mind that cares whether the sun shines or not. Don’t put an interpretation on a sunny day being good and a cloudy day being bad. They are all good and the sun continues to shine behind the clouds.
