Philosophy can explain a lot of things to us. It is based on reason, knowledge, and contemplation. It can explain what is considered to be the Good Life, the difference between good and evil, whether God exists or not, and answer any other question that has occurred to people for centuries.
It can answer what, how, when, and who. But it falls short when it comes to answering “Why?” This is because we can never fully know why something happens. Philosophy, when broken down to its roots, means “Love of of wisdom.” In peoples’ search, they have been able to measure and calculate “what.” They have been able to state “when.” They can also point out “Who” made some very wise observations.
Yet, when it comes to “Why,” all anyone can do is conjecture. If we go into Spirituality, we can finally get closer to the answer to “Why?” But reason alone will never get us there.
