But I say to them, “Napoleon was responsible for more than six million deaths due to his wars. Cleopatra has been discovered to be one of the most cold-blooded monarchs of ancient Rome.
“The lowly street sweeper was helping others by keeping the streets clean. He may have been an enlightened man who was happy with his lot in life. Is he of less value than Napoleon or Cleopatra? Karmically, he will be cleaner.”
We might say that all the psychopaths and murderers in and out of prisons today have no “value.” This is a mistake too. Many people have emerged from incarceration with an enlightened attitude, having learned from their mistakes. They may help out in shelter for animals and people, they may quietly live their lives and want to make their contribution to a better life.
The hardened criminals are an indication of what needs to be healed in our societies and on our planet. They are a result of a primitive mindset that is not appropriate for this stage of the earth’s development. In that sense, they are also of value.
Humans are very complex and do not fit into a system that evaluates them as to their worth. We all serve our function in a larger picture than we are capable of grasping with our minds. We must enter the world of the Spirit for that and in the world of the Spirit, there is no judging, only allowing what Is.
