Also, focusing on just the heart chakra (Anahata) as being of paramount importance, is not in keeping with the interconnectedness of all the chakras. It takes loving acceptance of all the chakras for the kundalini energy to rise. Ask yourself if you feel any disgust or anger towards any of your “lower” chakras. This may be the key to why you feel stuck.
Ask yourself if you are living too much out of your intellect and not enough out of your heart. See if you have been blocking feelings of love and connectedness.
All of our feelings, stemming from the heart, are there for us to express and acceptance. Depression, caused by not expressing our true feelings and holding them in, causes the kundalini energy to become stuck in certain areas of the body, and mainly the heart. Accept these feelings and release them, no matter how painful they are to you, before you can move on.
