I recently became aware of energy and frequency. Employers do not care about people, just making money I would much rather do something in line with growing my spiritual self through creativity or teaching. Are there any jobs I can pursue or business I can start to give me better sense of self worth?
You can do spiritual work no matter where you are and what job you have. You can work on yourself and become present, even doing dull, routine tasks such as washing dishes, making copies, or sweeping the streets. These jobs have no glory in them but beneath the surface they are very helpful to others and serve an important purpose.
Sometimes you may not know why you are at a job other than to support yourself and not be a financial burden to others, but then the reasons will appear to you. Once I was hired to dig ditches. It was dirty and hard work in the hot Florida sun. Yet it was honest, good work that allowed me to contemplate many ideas that have become the foundation of my philosophy today. This work led to other work and finally to my first experience regressing an entire business, which led to other Past Lives regressions, which remain to be the cornerstone of my life today.
Another way of looking at it is: Perhaps there are other people at work who could benefit from your higher consciousness. They may be burdened by problems and can’t find their way out. You are there for them to reach out to. Or, you can use breaks to center yourself and study or reflect on spiritual topics. Use that time at work to grow spiritually.
The way the work world is structured, from driving there in traffic to sitting in soul-less office buildings, is lackluster, un-stimulating, and lacking in vitality. We don’t feel connected to it, other than as a means to survival or as a way to make money for even wealthier people. As our collective consciousness grows, we will no longer channel people’s lives into these dreary situations. But we are not there yet, so take heart and be one of the people who advances the raising of consciousness on this planet now.
One day we will look back at this time in the history of employment and see that it was just as barbaric as the Vikings plundering other’s lives for their living. But at this stage of our evolution, everyone who is working on becoming and staying conscious is bringing up the total level of consciousness on this planet.
