When distracting thoughts come, don’t resist them, just go back to feeling your breath and it will bring peace.
Watching your breath as you meditate is a great way to gain focus. The breath is something you can control, but it is also beyond your control, just as is your digestive system and your blood flow. So that is why the breath is a good thing to focus on because you can control the flow of air but also realize that the Universe is working through you.
